DR. CHARLES FERZLI, B.SC., D.D.S., DABCP, DABCP-CDSM

Charles Ferzli graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1997. Dr. Charles Ferzli worked in a Medicaid office for a year followed by two other associateships before starting his own practice. During this period he gained experience in performing complex cosmetic procedures, and crown and bridge work. Dr. Charles Ferzli has dedicated time to upgrade his knowledge in various areas of dentistry and has taken more than 100 hours of continuing education every year for the past 19 years. He has received advanced training and certification from reputed institutes. He is certified from NYU for Implantology where he passed the fellowship written portion of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He took a residency cosmetic training continuum from Ross Nash Institute of Cosmetics, dental sleep medicine and TMJ training from the AACP, and orthodontic training from Gerry Samson Institute. He is certified to provide his patients with conscious sedation with the NC State Board of dental examiners. Dr. Charles Ferzli practices more than 40 hours a week in his Cary, NC office. The office is equipped with some of the latest and greatest dental technologies. He would like his patients to know that all their dental needs can be met in one location, and invests in products that achieve this goal.

Dr. Ferzli has been married to Miriam Ferzli for 23 years. They have two Basset-Beagle mix dogs Opie and Bailey. They enjoy ballroom dancing and have competed nationally for fourteen years. They love to go hiking, watch movies and spend time gardening. His best patients bring him good chocolate.

He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM), the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP) and the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ferzli completed the mini-residency and advanced training course offered by Steven Olmos in San Diego on TMJ and sleep, by Dr. Ed. Lipskis for phase II orthodontic rehabilitation, as well as the mini-residency course offered by the AACP.
